The Marine Division of Alterra Specialty provides unique and innovative expertise in all aspects of marine insurance. We distribute our diverse products through a variety of industry-oriented producers.

Mike Miller and his leadership team bring to Alterra Specialty over 150 years of combined experience in both Ocean and Inland Marine Underwriting and Claims. They offer a wide variety of Ocean, Inland and Marine Related Property products.

In order to best align territorial underwriting expertise with local brokerage communities, Alterra Specialty Marine is structured as a Regional operation.

• Southeast – Located in Atlanta, Georgia.
• Northeast – Located In New York, New York.
• Central – Located in Dallas, Texas.
• West – Marine underwriting for the Western U.S. is managed by Alterra’s affiliate, Alterra California Insurance Services, Limited.
